We have 2 4 1/2 yr old lab mixes. We got them at 3 months of age, and they have been outside in a pen next to the house ever since. My husband just finished fencing the back acre of our yard and building them a shelter there, approx. 50 yards behind the house, to give them a larger area to run and play. The dogs won't stay in! They pull up the bottom of the fence, and have even pushed their heads through the wire and made a hole big enough to squeeze through. They run free for a while,and then return to their old pen area. How can we get them to stay in their new large yard, and like it?? Thanks.
