The problem with kids and puppies, is that they think they are toys and usually kids bring out the agressive side of dogs out. Sometimes kids can be very loving, but sometimes they can be extremely cruel. So I agree that you should keep toy breeds away from kids, because kids are to tough for these delicate pets.
