My almost 7 year old yellow lab has strange eating behavior. When I put his food down, he scratches the floor next to his bowl and rubs his nose on the floor in front of the bowl. Then, he'll take a few peices and plant them in different parts of the room, eat his food, and then go back for the hidden treasures!! Do any of your dogs do this? Does anyone know why he might be doing this (its been going on for 3 years). Its not a problem....just really strange to watch.
