:Get him a "Nylabone" in chicken or some other flavor. They don't go through them as quickly as rawhide bones.

unless you are giving knuckle bones, it could be dangerous. I would suggest getting him a KONG..they love them, and you can stuff a treat inside it....they are pretty much indestructable.
