what about that method when you squeak when the dog bites a bit? You know when puppies play together and one of them makes a squeeky sound it means the other one is hurting him. Maybe if you teach your daugther to "squeak" when the puppy plays to roughly with her, he will understand that she is fragile and it could work better then discipline that he doesn't understand. If he thinks your daughter is another puppy to play with, is she speaks his language he might get the message. It sounds like he is only playing not being agressive.
