Hey Tasha and Melody!
So far, Chelsea is still orange/rust colored on all 4 feet and her beard...and yes, she licks her feet a lot, but never used to turn these colors! And, no, she has not decided to be friendly with the cat. She's actually started to go to the bathroom in the house now, too, which she had NEVER done since she was a puppy 10 years ago. Now I'm wondering if this is stress related or due to old age??? She certainly doesn't act like an old dog, but she is developing some bad habits. My parents are going nuts. Any more advice? Thanks!
Stephanie
:::Thanks, Tasha. I'll certainly check out those websites and let you know what happens. This orange discoloration is really a mystery- I appreciate your help!

::Okay, now I'm really, really curious as to whether you got to the bottom of the orange feet and beard? Any luck with cat/dog relations?

:This is a longshot here, but does your dog do alot of licking of her feet, or slobbering? My greyhound licks her feet alot and they turn an orange/rust color from her salivia. This is the same type of discoloring you get from alot of white dogs where their eyes tear and the get discolored around their mouths from their salivia. Just a thought!
