Hi there and thank you for adopting shelter dogs! Can you post a picture of Nicki in our photo gallery? Just upload it like you would if you were attaching something to email, then select the image from your photo gallery when you post on the boards. Really, it sounds more complicated than it is. Chances are there isn't much dachshund in her if she already weighs 16 lb at 12 weeks, but I am sure you will love her anyway and wouldn't trade her in for another model. :-)

:Hi! I have 3 dogs (all from the Humane Society). Last one, Nicki, we just got a week before xmas. We were told she was mixed Dachshund / Beagle and wouldn't be more than 20/25 pounds. Well she is 12 weeks old now and weighs already 16 pounds! I'm really worried about this one :) Not that I could do anything about it... Our first 1 shouldn't have weighed more than 30 according to them and now he's 50. Any ideas?
