Joe likes these Bacon flavored Nylabones we've been getting him. He likes to play with our puppy, Smokey, outside in the backyard. He is still getting used to us, but he's coming around. We do have a decent sized back yard. Big enough for the two of them. We aren't too sure what he likes to do since he is still on his guard and not sure of the home and us yet. We take him to Petsmart every weekend to get him used to socializing with other people and dogs. Other than that he likes his crate. We leave the door open, but he stays in there like it's his security blanket. I'm really happy to have him though and wouldn't change anything for the world!
:The black on the tongue sure could be chow. He seems a little small to be part mastiff, but if he is only 10-1/2 months old he will get a little bigger.

:What does Joe like to do? Do you have a fenced yard for him to play in?

::Joe is about 50lbs now and around 10 1/2 months old. I don't know if he is going to get any bigger or stay the same size.

::::I brought Joe home from the shelter 3 weeks ago. They told me he was Shepherd Mix and I can see that; however, I do not know what else he is mixed with. Mastiff? Shar Pei? Chow? His tongue is pink with Black/Blue spots allover it. His eyes are dark brown with black ears that tip over, but are not erect like German Shepherds. His muzzle and around his eyes are black. His tail is partially black and he has some black on his back, but it is very little. Otherwise, he is all tan. If you have any idea what else he may be mixed with I'd appreciate the info. Thanks!!!
