Hi. I just adopted my wonderful do apprx. 2 1/2 months ago. She has had severe scratching and shedding. We took her to the vet and the vet told us it could be allergies. He gave us some medicine for the allergies and told us it may make her drowsy. I started giving it to her 4 days ago and I know it will probably take a while to start working.
I just hate seeing her sleeping all the time especially when she is usually so playful. So i decided to stop giving them to her and just try to change her diet. Her food makes her belch all the time. I do not know if this is normal or not but I wonder if the food is making her stomach upset. Any ideas on what food to change her to would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! jennifer
