Good for you for being concerned and doing your research! I would like to add that after meeting the parents and after the puppies are born, go visit the litter and watch how the mother interacts with the litter and how each litter mate reacts to each other. You will be able to see that there will be an alpha, beta. . .so on from there. Once the pups are old enough, interact with them and see how they react with you. Good luck and please keep in touch. This is a very interesting subject :)
:Thanks for the reply, I am going to study the parents as carefully as possible. (they are a friends) Another question, is there any dominant traits in a say the male or female ...I mean looking at the parents ....is the male traits going to come through more than the females? I am just really leary about these pups for some reason, the whole mix thing has me a little on edge.
