The company does not have to list this EQ on the label because they didn't add it. Companies are only required to list the preservatives that they add. Some companies however do claim to use fish meal that they make themselves without EQ, but there aren't many of those companies around. So, chances are, there's ethoxyquin in this food.
The poster referred to preservatives in meat and meat meals, not fish. I acknowledged that fish meals may contain preservatives.
:Btw, what you said about starches and carbs being easily digestable by dogs, is also wrong. I could give you a huge lists of dogs that greatly improved after these ingredients were removed from the diet.
You appear to have a great propensity for using the experience you think you observe or hear reported on the internet as fact. If you bother to read journal studies on canine digestion of starches you'll realize that you are, in fact, wrong. The following advice will serve you well, too:
You have be careful about what you read on the internet. There is a wealth of "information" that is either misleading or completely incorrect, most times in an effort to sell dubious products and services.
