::We will be adding a Newfoundland puppy to our family in about 2 months. I know there's an ongoing debate on what to feed/how to feed a giant breed puppy. Any opinions, suggestions will be appreciated!

::Thanks! Jill

:I recently saw a brand of food (Eagle I think) that have a "large breed puppy" mix that sounded quite good (I don't know much about this brand - it SOUNDS good - but thats about all I know!) - it contained Chondroiton and Glucosamine supplements and all natural human grade stuff. As, I said, I don't know too much about hte brand = but it might be something worthwhile researching.

:Personally, I'm a big advocate of raw food diets :)

I also feed raw, but as far as kibble goes, I have this suggestion (with the exception of Eagle Pack), do not feed large or giant breed formulas. I would also reccomend switching your pup to adult formaula once he reaches 4 or 5 months.
