One idea is to designate one area of the yard where she can dig and encourage her to dig there. Perhaps bury a couple of treats (as she watches) and see what she does. Then, if you see her digging elsewhere, redirect her to her digging area. Poodles are pretty smart...she should catch on fairly soon.

:I have a 6mos female standard. A great dog, well behaved, response well to training and commands-
:problem is when we are not around she digs. I think its out of boredom or frustration. it can be 10 min or 4 hours. I have never caught her in the act.
:she has plenty of toys, hidden treats, lots of space. I have been told she will grow out of it as she gets more mature and comfortable alone.
:any ideas besides the obvious, dont leave her alone? thanks
