:Two years ago we adopted an 11 year old Australian Shepherd who needed a new home because his owner had a premature baby with a lot of health issues and she didn't want to see Clancy neglected because of that. He is the sweetest old geezer and a true blue Aussie--he just never gives up. He has severe arthritis in his hips (he gets glucosamine and an occasional etogesic for that), and he recently developed congestive heart failure. He still troops on, though. On Labor Day we took him, along with our other Aussie Suzie, to an Aussie picnic at the farm where I take herdling lessons with Suzie. There were about 20 Aussies running up and down the hill, playing and frolicking--and Clancy would trot up and down trying to keep up with them. He was having a blast--and I've never seen him happier!

Welcome Kathy and Clancy!!
Look at him go in that picture...for having arthritis, he sure can move and it's nice to see he's so happy. Thank you for opening your home and heart to this senior boy!!
