:We have been having a very snowy winter here on the Chesapeake Bay (MD side) and my old girls (one 13 and one 1-1/2 months from being 13) have been having problems. Not with the powder snow that has been falling, but with the frozen crust, after the snow melts a bit and then refreezes. Natasha especially, with her webbed feet (lab), gets exhausted floundering around in it and has to rest a lot afterwards. Poor babies, there was a time when snow-time was massive play-time.
:Anyone else's dogs having trouble with icy crust? Any ideas on how to help?

Tasha, I'm sorry to hear they aren't able to enjoy the snow as they once did. Where we're located, snow is a rare thing...no real advice except to be sure to clean feet after returning back inside. :(
