I find if the snow is really deep to shovel a path to the potty area helps. If they want to go in deeper snow they will, if not it's a easy walk to the bathroom area!

Well, see? That's the difference between your dogs and mine! Yours is a northern dog in the first place. Snow would be a semi-constant environmental factor in a Spitz's genetic adaptation. Glad your girl is enjoying this snowy winter.
