I read somewhere one time that there was something that u could put in their water and it will take the color out of the tears and so u won't get tear staining. I am always fighting Takyna to trim the hair around her eyes because it is so nasty looking when around her eyes are all brown with tear stains. So if u have any Idea's please let me know, it would be most appreciated!!!

Welcome to the Shih Tzu board to you and Takyna. This seems to be the week for eye drainage questions. (: This is not an uncommon problem with Shih Tzu and other breeds as well. You might want to check the thread on this page, "Eye drainage" and see if it answers your questions. If not, ask away and we'll see if we have any answers for you.
