:::I'm exhausted and in a state of shock. My UConn Lady Huskies lost to Villanova tonight in the finals of the Big East Tournament and broke their 70 game winning streak. Katie was about to ship me off to the funny farm for the way I was acting. LOL If we had to get beat, I'm glad it was by Villanova. The coaches are best buddies and their team played a superb game. They deserved to win. Who knows....we may meet again at the big dance. (:

:It would have been nice, Marg, but to tell you the truth, I think Geno is glad that the 70 game winning streak is over. It was the media that made such a big deal out of it and it was a men's basketball team record (UCLA I believe)...not a women's team. It was just too much pressure for such a young team. Also, I'm sure Geno is happy that if they had to lose, it was to Villanova. They are a class A team with a class A coach. The two coaches have been very good friends for years.
