::Some dog training schools now have classes that include a lot of tricks. The book "The Power of Positive Training," by Pat Miller includes a lot of tricks. Clicker training is a good way to teach tricks, and there's a lot of free information about how to clicker train a dog on the Internet, including the site www.clickertraining.com. Probably the biggest number of tricks and methods in one book are found in Captain Haggerty's book "How to Teach Your Dog to Talk."

What you learn in dog training school is how to communicate with your dog. The dog has no idea what you mean when you say words. Words have no meaning to the dog except the meaning we have created by learning how to communicate with the dog. I think you're going to need some help in person learning how to do that. If you are a young person, there may be 4H classes available to you at a low cost. ---Kathy
