Trainging treats???

First, for his normal meals, a high quality kibble is obviously best. Soem dogs like their kibble food so much you can use it for training purposes (especially at home where distractions are low and they really aren't working hard). For "extra" training outside the house or in classes there are many things one can try. It really depends on the dog. My friend's dog works for Cheerios. My dog works for small cut up hot dogs or cheese (when i say small i mean bites half the size of my pinky nail). I tend to stay away from hard stuff becasue it takes a while for soem dogs to eat. The idea is just a bit as a reward and keep working. Stopping to eat just doens't work. Be creative. THere are recipes for liver brownies (make when you can have windows open). Good luck!
