I am beginning to feel like a bit of a fool here...
I got Sophie from a breeder. The breeder promised UKC papers would arrive in the mail. After not getting them for a few weeks after getting Sophie, I called back. She said that with the snow they have been having, mail wasn't being delivered to their door and her husband had to drive down to the post office to get their mail. The papers should be in any day now...
Well, it's been a few more weeks and no papers still. I called the breeder today, and could you believe it, their phone has been temporarily disconnected!!
I am at my wit's end here. She left her vet's number as a reference, and I think that I am going to give the vet a call tomorrow to see how things are going with her and if s/he has heard anything from the breeder.
I have a paper with her signature, saying that UKC papers would be mailed to me.
-a very frustrated Lesya + the ever chewy Sophie, ripping up some newspaper (while making a BIG mess!) as i type.
