Hello Hello!
Welp, I guess it's about time for an update.
She's 3 months old, 17.25 lbs, and allllll energy. lol
She got her 3rd distemper and rabies vaccination today.
I finally got in touch with her breeder. Says the papers came in a few days ago, and she'll be sending them out tomorrow. She said her husband was injured and in the hospital for a few days, so she couldn't send them out right away. phew! *wipes brow* lol, I was beginning to really get worried about it! =)
She got an anti-inflamatory ointment to put in her eyes 2x a day for 10 days. Her eyes are mildly inflamed and it hasn't gone away since her visit to the vet last month. The vet suspects that it might be allergies, or, as she has seen in many mastiff-type breeds, that it's just kind of a different norm for her. She checked her eyes, and she doesn't have any eyelashes running against her eyes.
We ended up paying a good 82 dollars for the 2 vaccines, sitting fee, and ointment.
Also, have any of you guys here heard about the Lyme Disease vaccine? The vet suggested getting her vaccinated because Lyme Disease in our area has skyrocketed in the past 5 - 6 years. What do you think? Is it worth it?
