Have you tried contacting UKC to make sure she is a registered breeder? Mayhaps if you know the dogs parents registered names, you can get UKC to help you with that...

I JUST saw this on one of those court shows in the past two days. The breeders actually wanted to take the dog back. They were ordered to return the money paid and not get dog unless they could provide with proper AKC paperwork!
