LOL circus is an understatement! That is great that you rescued her. It saddens me that there are that many out there in need of good homes. 68 lbs is a good weight for a female, to me they can move better on the lower end of the scale. When I add pictures of my dogs I will put their ages and weight also.
I have read The Working American Bulldog, it is an interesting book, Putnam can go on and on LOL. My favorite book is Lem Miller's, American Bulldogs; Stories, Facts, and Legends. That is a great read!
Take care,
Jamie

:but I am pretty sure that it is fear triggered aggression. Kind of the old "the best defense is a good offense.
:Sounds like it could be a circus at your house, or maybe circus might be too light of a term. Cheyenne spends most of her time indoors with the other dog that we have.
:I don't know what the terms are for the AB group, as far as when you say that my dogs are bred from the _____ line, etc. Sorry. Cheyenne is a rescue and I have no idea what her parentage is. I am pretty sure that she is a scott or performance type line, and I am positive that she is NOT a Johnson type. She does not have the massive head or the shorter snout of the Johnson type. She only weighs 68 pounds now, although I am sure that she will gain at least a few more pounds.
:Have you read that big book "The Working American Bulldog" yet?
