:I was looking up Eagle Pack online. They seem to have a good diet for large breed puppy food. What do you think? Does anyone else here have any advice? What do you feed your large breeds as puppies?
:My concern is Hip Displaysia. Sophie is a very active pup. She goes up and down stairs with ease, and doesn't pass up a chance to jump off of the couch and beds, which makes my nerves fry.
:I want to make sure that Hip Dysplasia is not something that I will have to deal with in the future.

A VERY good quality food. While there are no promises, a good diet can help with stuff like displaysia. Give it a shot!
Not sure if you have read it, but Here is brutus' diet.
Morning
3/4 cups Wysong Anergen
1/4 Wellness Fish and Sweet Tato
1 teaspoon yogurt
1 lb beef
sprinkling of cheese
1 fish oil pill
Night
1 can sardines
1 tablespoon cottage cheese
1/2 cup MK IGuana Salad
1 cup Wellness Fish and Sweet Potato
I have got to get more bones or bone meal into his diet. He was previously eatting turkey bones, but we have found him to be allergic to poultry. Also looking at getting him on some anti oxidants. Slowly working on the raw thing as I learn more about it. As we know with our igs, processed food isnt as good as fresh, so Im working on getting there...
ONE thing to know about the higher quality kibble. You need to feed a WHOLE lot less because of less fillers.
