:the veggies need to be juiced or pulverized greatly because the dogs can't process the cellulose in veggies (or something like that). I can't remember where I read that, perhaps on the canine nutrition board?
:sue

The Iguana Salad that I make is pretty damn close to pulverized. Part of the reason a lot of people juice is to make a gravy type of solution because many dogs would take veggies. The worst thing about the veggies is the farts. The books that I have read primarily stress organically grown (which the stuff i but for the iguanas claims to be) and fresh (once again the stuff i get for iguanas is) so I think im ok... Ill check with christy our food guru.
