Im gonna post this on both boards since i dont know which one everyone is using.

So we decided to take da dog in for his ears. They have been really itchy and we have been cleaning them daily, and gave it a bit to clear up, we decided it just wasnt we went into the vet.

NATURALLY when we walk in there just HAS to be a 10 lb dog at the door. Well the little mop just had to growl at brutus, so he thought it was play time. Damn mop dogs. BTW I do finally know how much he weighs and he is at perfect weight. 86.4 lbs. Well it turns out someone has a bakery in his ear. He has a mild yeast infection. It actually could be related to the allergy that we found he has to poultry, SO hopefully after the round of drops in his ear twice daily he will no longer have itchy ears. We also got a free nail trimming class. Reminiced about my first nail trimming class on my first iguana. Discussed Vaccinations and got the go ahead to only do rabies from the vet, discussed the diet I am currently feeding (much to the vets excitement) and then because he had never met me and was not my reptile vet, he got excited over my REALLY THICK File. So we spent a good half an hour bullspiting about the reptiles I have kept and still have and rescue stuff, and then my regular herp vet came in and was teasing me about the hairy albino iguana. Ya know its just bad when you walk into the office and they know you by name with out having to look it up.

Anyhow, then we went to my work to show off a bit. Needless to say he was a HUGE hit. Everyone thought he was ALOT smaller in his pics. He was INCREDIBLY well behaved. Not really jumping too much and just all over happy with like 6 women fawning over him. He did scare a few of the men. Ya know thats something I have observed over the years at reptile shows. The men are more nervous than the women as well. Wonder why.

No he is resting peacefully on the couch, after chasing around the city today he is tuckered and I am off to work before the ks.com chat tonight... hehehe LONG DAY...

Cindy
