Hey guys! I went to the dog park first thing this morning and found a dog that had been left in there with a bed sheet. He was soaked from the cold and very excited to see someone. He smelled terrible and he had no tag. The only person who knew anything aboput him was a lady who said she saw him last week eating out of the trash can in that same park. I took him home, bathed him...twice! I fed him and took him to the humane society to be scanned for a microchip..nada. They asked if I want to surrender him and I haven't got the heart to do it yet - they do euthinasia (sp?). I think he's like a yellow lab mix or golden retriever mix. He has black skin and corse yellow fur. He weighs 78 pounds and seems energetic. He shakes his ears a lot and from what I can see, one ear has green goo in it. His elbows are bald showing his black skin. Poo (pardon me) is runny and he eats like he's never seen a bowl of food put in front of him. H.S. says he looks to be about 5 years old but hard to tell if he's not been well cared for. Teeth are worn and back legs shake....I can't take on the vet bills or the second dog right now. Please tell me what I can do and where else I can post this message for help! Please e-mail me if possible because I'm going to post this everywhere I can think of for help...THANKS SO MUCH!!!
