Recently I received a call for help. One of the humane societies that I work closely with had a dog on their hands that needed some extra TLC. Molly was found by a hunter in the woods. She is a little black lab mixed possibly with GSD. Where she was found and from the injuries she had, it is believed that she was either thrown out of a car/of the bridge or hit by a car. She had no tags. The hunter took her home for the weekend and got her into the vet. She was in poor shape. Skinny and just plain worn out. She also had a broken paw. The vet told the man to take her home for a few days and let her get enough strength up to undergo surgery and he would set her foot. Well the hunter put off going in for a bit too long and Molly needed a more extensive surgery. Faced with a hard decision, the hunter turned Molly into the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) in waukesha. HAWS did manage to get her the surgery, however the surgery cost them almost 1800.00. The humane society is taking donations to help cover the costs of the fees for Molly's Surgery. If you can send anything please help. Molly does have a home when she heals. If i can get a pic of molly I will post it. If you can help them in any way, the address is down below.
