How important are these two vaccinations? I know where rabies comes from, but how do dogs get these diseases? Are most dogs at risk? Are these shots risky? My adopted dog had the bortadella as a puppy, but I don't believe he ever had the distemper. March will be time for the bortadella booster. (He gets the rabies boosters)
