I have 2 small mixed terriers at home, one is 7 yrs. old and 1/2 yorkshire terrier and the other is 9 yrs. old is too mixed to tell what what kind of terrier it is. i am not sure whether its best to get an APBT as a pup or as an adult. If its best to get one as an adult, i supposed id go to the toronto humane society or check the classifieds for a friendly pit, if its best to get one as a pup id probably get one from someone in my neighbourhood or a breeder. I spend almost all of my summer at my cottage where the dogs are free to rome. i know the pitbull isn't the best dog to introduce into a family w/ other dogs, but i really like their breed and they can be some of the nicest dogs. So my main question is, is it likely it'll get along with my dogs (they are fairly easy going) and would it be best to get a pup or an adult.
