::Since we have started training, we have been using extra-special treats that normally Chief wouldn't get...to make him extra focused and rewarded. We are giving cheese and turkey for those treats. What does everyone else use?

:One of my nicknames for my three Belgian Tervuren is the the Three Pigs. To say they are not picky about treats would be an overpowering understatement! They are thrilled to work for Iams Minichunks when I want to use treats. I avoid using treats on therapy dog visits, but during training I do use them a lot. These are easy to have along, and big dogs like mine can have lots of them, getting only a tiny bit with each bite.
:Recently when the BilJac man was here to deliver frozen dog food (straight to my freezer, I love it!), he gave me a bag of their new Gooberlicious treats, which contain peanut butter. I used those last week during toenail trimming, and I have enough left to do it again this week. The dogs were thrilled.

Hi All,
I rarely use treats but when I do.......
I use baked liver with a little garlic powder. I bake it myself, both of my dogs really like it.
